Purpose and Mission
We are seeking a HR Generalist who will be responsible for providing operational shared services support to the business, encompassing all facets of Human Resources as well as the general management of the office, thus enabling the business to deliver on strategic objectives through effective talent management, employee engagement, and compliance.
Your mission is to build a high performing, engaged workforce by applying HR expertise, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide best practice HR advice and guidance to Line Managers and staff throughout the employee lifecycle, applying up-to-date knowledge of employment, data protection, health & safety, and other relevant legislation. This includes proactively advising on complex HR matters, interpreting legislation, ensuring policy consistency, and conducting HR audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with and mentor hiring managers, leading the recruitment and selection process to ensure strategic hires. Utilise diverse recruitment channels, conduct thorough screening and assessments, manage offers, and contribute to workforce planning.
- Manage seamless onboarding and respectful offboarding processes. Develop engaging onboarding programs and conduct exit interviews to improve retention.
- Advise managers on grievance and disciplinary issues and process, acting as an impartial mediator when necessary. Develop employee relations policies, conduct investigations, and ensure fair disciplinary procedures, promoting a positive work environment.
- Prepare monthly payroll in liaison with Accounts and a third-party processor, manage employee flexible benefits structure and manage the employee Discretionary Bonus Scheme.
- Manage positive employee relations and engagement through inclusive social, cultural, and wellbeing initiatives. Develop engagement strategies, conduct surveys, and promote open communication.
- Support line managers with performance review processes, performance management frameworks, any facilitate any training necessary and tracking of completion.
- Support line managers in identify skills gaps and coordinate internal and external learning and development. Conduct training needs analysis, manage the L&D budget, and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure shared services information is kept up to date across all relevant documents and trackers.
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, including Regus, suppliers, and brokers. Manage vendor relationships, and provide excellent service.
- Manage all aspects of the office for an efficient and conducive work environment. Oversee the office budget, ensure safety, and manage supplies and equipment.
